Le Vigne's 2020 Arbequina extra virgin olive oil is grown on the family's estate in Paso Robles California. This Nuvello version is fresh pressed and unfiltered. It has a high fruitiness, balanced pungency, and a very pleasing, clean grassy taste with notes of ripe tropical fruit, apple, and fresh artichoke. Arbequina is the major olive tree of Catalonia, in northeast Spain. The tree is relatively small. It resists frost well. And the oval-shaped olives it produces are small. The olives also ripen relatively early versus other varietals.
