Farmer's bean soup mix gourmet food product are perfect for homemade soups, and are made easy with these colorful and flavorful mix of beans. Casale Bartolini Farmer's Bean Soup Mix is the most traditional product, and truly warm mix of 5 different beans. This bean mix will please the pallet and warm the belly. Gourmet tip: Wash beans thoroughly and place in a large kettle, cover with water and soak overnight. Next drain beans and add 2 quarts of new water and ham or ham hock (or use broth if omitting ham). Simmer slowly for 2-1/2 to 3 hours. Then add spice packet, onion, tomatoes (undrained), lemon juice and salt to taste. Simmer another 30 minutes or until beans are tender and serve.
