Le Bleu Président is matured in the heart of France, the volcanic Auvergne located in the Highlands of the “Massif Central”. The Auvergne region is renowned for its rugged landscape dominated by extinct volcanoes, high wind-swept plateaus, deep gorges, and crater lakes. Rainfall of up to 40 inches per year provides the region with lush pastures rich in oligo-elements and rolling hillsides for Charolaises cows, a specific breed that produces. 

Le Bleu Président is a decadent creamy blue cheese, made from 100% cow’s milk. It is matured for at least eight weeks, in a dark, cool, and humid cellar, growing a natural rind often with some white-cream surface mold which gives it its creamy and melting texture as well as a marked blue cheese taste. The Bleu Président is veined with bluish-green molds, evenly distributed throughout the cheese.
